1. About the Platform
Kapston Home Services ("Platform") is a technology-enabled marketplace operated by Kapston Services Private Limited, connecting customers with independent service professionals ("Partners").
The Platform facilitates discovery, booking, and payment for home services. Kapston acts as a marketplace intermediary and is not the direct provider of services.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Platform.
By using the Platform, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
3. Service Bookings
When you book a service, you enter into a direct service agreement with the assigned Partner professional.
Prices displayed are starting prices. Final pricing may vary based on the scope of work assessed by the professional on-site.
Kapston strives to match you with the best available professional but cannot guarantee specific individuals.
4. Partner Professionals
All Partners are independent contractors, not employees of Kapston Services.
Partners undergo background verification, skill assessment, and periodic reviews. However, Kapston does not guarantee the quality of work performed.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee allows you to request a free redo or refund if the service does not meet reasonable quality standards.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway.
You may pay via UPI, debit/credit card, net banking, or Kapston wallet balance.
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise specified during booking.
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies are detailed separately in our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy pages.
In general, free cancellation is available within a defined window before the scheduled service time.
7. User Obligations
Provide accurate address and contact information for service delivery.
Ensure safe and reasonable working conditions for the service professional.
Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, or any abusive behavior toward Partners.
Report any issues or concerns through our support channels promptly.
8. Limitation of Liability
Kapston's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service delivery.
This limitation does not apply to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the Platform are owned by Kapston Services Private Limited.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
